Requirements

To build xfirelib you will require jam: http://www.perforce.com/jam/jam.html

Download From SVN Repository

To check out the sources through subversion you will need a subversion client: http://subversion.tigris.org

To get the sources with the command line client you can use the following command:

svn co http://yourhell.com/svn/xfirelib/trunk/xfirelib

Compile

change into the xfirelib directory and use the command 'jam' to compile the sources. Afterwards you can try the test client:

bin/testclient/xfirelibtest <xfire username> <xfire password>

the test client is just a small command line client which we have used to test the xfirelib. After you started the xfirelibtest you can type e.g. 'help' to get a list of available commands. or 'buddylist' to get a list of all your buddies.
